Maldives! - a MUST-GO place before it disappears
Hey guys! As mentioned, I went to CNY vacation with my family and from the title, I am sure you guys all know where I went!
We went there for 2 nights but I think that's more than enough. It would be nice to go again.. It's such a beautiful place!
So, the first thing on the plane we saw when we were about to land was this GORGEOUS clear water!! I don't think I have seen anything like this. You cannot compare the water from Hong Kong and Macau. Place I've been to did not have water this beautiful also. It was breathtaking.
So, by these two pictures, you all probably know where we stayed.. W Maldives! We had to take a 35 minute sea plane to get to the hotel from the main city, Male.
The sea plane was very tiny. It could only hold 15 people. Air conditioning wasn't very strong, so they added two fans in the front. Everyone was sweating. The inflight booklet was very interesting. It has all the different hotels' promotions and a very pretty cover page.
So this is the hotel! Every island has one hotel and most of them are very similar. I remembered I went to Maldives once with my parents when I was super young. I could barely remember anything. However, I remembered we stayed right beside the beach. The sands were very nice as well. Of course, after tsunami, my mom was very paranoid and wouldn't lemme go to Maldives until my dad decided we could go. (Thanks daddy) This is a place where everyone SHOULD go at least once in their life.
So after we arrived, there was buggy waiting for us. The staff gave us a tour of the island.
Of course, family vacation consisted of my brother :P
The buggy drove us to our room and on the way to our room, this was how it looked it.. amazing..
HERE IT IS! Our room!!! The view is GREAT! The bed and bathroom! Thumbs up! Can't ask for more!
Weather is so nice, not too hot
And every corner in the hotel has this treat area where guests can just grab a drink, popsicle and whatever they need. Cool huh?
This was taken in the room.
Oh yeah, and this is the main entrance of the hotel :P
Shit, I looked like I had elephant legs -.- seriously..
The staff waving to the new arrivals :P
Goodbye Maldives! I am sure I will come back again, maybe trying another hotel. This is such a great vacation, to relax and release stress from work. That's what I needed.
